Update compliance reporting without using SCCM for updates

    Question

  • Greetings, all,

A higher authority in our organization has mandated that we use SCCM for updates so they can view update compliance reporting via SCCM.  We are currently very happy with WSUS and do not want to migrate to an SCCM SUP just for the reporting.  Is it possible for SCCM to collect update compliance statistics without machines utilizing an SCCM SUP for updates?  In other words, can we continue to use WSUS but have SCCM collect stats on update statuses?

    Thanks!
