Exchange 2010 MP for SCOM 2007 R2 problem.

    Question

  • Can anybody please tell me how to configure the Exchange Management Pack for Exchange 2010 on a SCOM 2007 R2? The Manual isn't too useful here.
From time to time - like right now - I get tons of flapping SCOM-Messages like these here:

  • Can you check the actual failure is in the previous step "Autodiscover"? Because the previous Autodiscover step failed, RFR cannot find RpcProxy endpoint to use for running test over RPC/HTTP. You can also check  the health of Autodiscover service running cmdlet Test-OutlookWebServices -MonitoringContext:$true | fl or the monitor "Auto Discovery" from Operation Console.

If you can repro, please run the cmdlet with -Verbose which can provide more diagnostic info. Test-OutlookConnectivity -Protocol:HTTP -TrustAnySslCert:$true -MonitoringContext:$true -Verbose
