This is a new install for me. I have been unsuccessful in finding docs that support this install. I will keep looking.
The SCOM 2007 R2 sever is a stand-alone server. The Operation DB server is another server that has the OnePoint DB for MOM 2005. MOM 2005 is installed on a separate server.
I am not planning to marry the SCOM with the MOM, except would like the DB for both to be on the same back-end DB svr (the DB instance will be the same, however, the DB itself will be unique). Also, as the older MOM clients are upgraded to W2K8 and above,
I will be migrating each client to the SCOM 2007 R2 svr.
Any pointers are greatly appreciated. Thanks
