Add user to AD group for folder ACL

    Question

  • Hello!

I'm currently testing SCCM 2012 and would like to know if this scenario would be possible.

    An example would be -

User A wants write access to the folder \\ServerName\Shared$\Finance\Folder they log a helpdesk call via System Center service manager to request this. This workflows to UserA manager and they agree. Once the manager has signed it off SCCM should pick it up and add the user to the correct AD group for write access to the folder.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks, Joe
