Can i import other Catalog file into Software Update point to manage Non MS patch

  • Hi All,

      How can i manage Non MS patches using SCCM?
      Is there any way to import non MS patch catalog file into SCCM ?
      Where can i get Non MS patch catalog files ?

    You can use the SCUP 4.5 to import non microsoft updates into WSUS/config Mgr. For detailed information and great how-to videos check http://blogs.technet.com/jasonlewis/archive/2008/12/15/system-center-updates-publisher-scup-4-5-has-released.aspx

  • You can download some catalogs like Dell, HP, Adobe (but only with Flash Player), Citrix, 1E and Intel.  For the majority of updates you need to create them your self. That's where the videos play an important part. They will walk you through the process and also demonstrate how to download the catalogs.

    Where we can get all non MS patches catalog files for SCCM server.
