exchange server 2003 server ssl cerificate request generation doubts

hi friends,
i am facing some problem in my exchange server 2003,i am using an ssl certificate from godaddy.com for my outlook anywhere and owa,recently the ssl certificate was expired,i tried to login godaddy.com and renew the ssl unfortunately i forget the password for the account login,some of my friends suggesting make a new certificate request and generate a new ssl certificate for my exchange and remote server login,i am in a confusion how i can recreate a new certificate request,if i check the iis in server 2003 i am getting an option renew certificate..after i select that its generating a request,i feel the old same request is generating
please suggest me how i can generate a new certificate request.

Go to IIS on the server and remove the existing/expired certificate. Once you remove it, you can generate a new certificate request in IIS.

Please go to remove the old certificate from Exchange Server 2003, then follow this document to generate a new certificate request:
