I am planning to install Forefront Security for Sharepoint on a Sharepoint farm, consisting of 2 frontend servers and one backend server. However, I'm not sure on how to install the product. Can I do a local installation on both frontend servers or is installation on 1 of the frontend servers enough? Or must i use the Microsoft Forefront Server Security Management Console to install Forefront Security for Sharepoint? Who can help? Thanks in advance.
You do not have to use FSSMC to install Forefront for SharePoint. You can easily install Forefront directly on the server. We suggest installing on both frontend servers, not just one.
