Microsoft auto updating without permission

I woke up today to find that microsoft decided to go ahead and upgrade my computer to IE 9, and no I did not accept any agreement or give permission to do so, which not only upgraded IE, but also clear half the crap on my computer. My favorites are all gone, all passwords are gone, changed my background and screen saver too, don't ask me why that would be necessary. You also uninstalled about 15 programs I had installed on the computer, again, who the hell knows why you would do that, including google chrome so all of those favorites are now gone, my ftp editor was still there, but for some reason, you guys also deleted the entire config of it and about 50 saved ftp connection info, some of which I don't even know where to look to restore it, my entire skype config was changed and had to be reinstalled. Oh and don't forget installing yahoo and aol to my toolbars, obviously I didn't approve that either while my computer lagged for about 15 minutes trying to uninstall them.
Any reason you completely have no responsibly to the rest of the world that you seem to think you own? Your support is horrible in every product you have, so I don't expect any more than some pre-written reply like "sorry for any trouble this has caused" when I am sure no one could care either way. And I am also sure you will be quick to point out that somewhere in your terms of service you have something that gives you the right to do anything you want without having any responsibility and try to claim this is somehow my fault, yes I know how dare I go to sleep and not keep my eye on the computer 24 hours a day. I obviously should have had to accept and give permission for any kind of major updates, your browser has always been extremely buggy whenever you release a new one, I think everyone in the world knows this, so I would have never agreed to let you update IE, maybe about 2 years from now when you would make IE 9 stable would I have upgraded to it. I just wanted to let you know I will be making every complaint possible to every business authority I can, uninstalling any programs of yours and talking bad about you at every possible chance I get. But thanks for the awesome help I am sure you will provide. My opinion of you has just dropped significantly, there is nothing you can do to help, I just hope you leave this post up here to show how satisfied your customers are.

Did you try to revert back your system to a previous state where Internet Explorer 9 was not installed by applying a restore point?
After that, you could configure Windows Update to not install all the updates automatically or use the Internet Explorer 9 Blocker Toolkit (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=179) to disable automatic delivery of Internet Explorer 9?Bye.
