    Hi all, looking for a bit of help with MDT 2012 (version 6.0.2200.0).

    I'm using customsettings.ini settings from MDT 2010 U1 that have worked without any problems. The issue I'm having is after the first reboot where the deployment seems to stop and not proceed before the OS is configured (EG Join domain, set screen res., ETC).

    Im using think imaging so no apps are installed as part of the deployment, there are no special scripts or CMD lines I'm running, just straight "standard client task sequence". Below is the last section from both the BBD log as well as SMSTS log:

    From these logs it looks like some sort of network config  or driver problem, however the client is able to connect to the deployment share fine and the WIM is applied to the disk so networking does seem to work.

    If anyone can shead some light on what might be going wrong or something I should it would be hugely appreciated - if you need more info please ask :)

    Thought I'd add that monitoring is reporting that the deploy is at 56% complete and at step 48 of 84 when it stops - i've tried leaving the workstation in the state where it stops for up to an hour to see if it's running a background config task to no avail.

    I had a very similar problem with a Win 7 deployment.

    Turns out it had to do with sysprep and rearming limitations.  Have you captured this image previous to the current image?

    Perhaps make a FRESH install of the OS, capture it, and use it in the same task sequence. If that works it's a problem with the image, and not MDT.

    Thanks for the answer - sorry for the late reply. I didn't end up continuing working with MDT 2012 as my development time is extremely tight; I rolled back to MDT 2010 Update 1 as it was already working in our environment. Thanks for the advice, i'll keep it in mind for the future.

    I was experiencing the exact same issue. Worked with Microsoft Techs. The final answer was an issue when adding the computer to the domain. We had every symptom you had... reaches 56%, not completing the deploy, no Finish button, as well as...perpetual loop auto logging into local admin account on restart/reboot, etc. We enjoy MDT 2012 and did not have to roll back to 2010.

    Try this to test your particular issue. Create an OU (NoPolicy) that does not inherit any policies and in the customsettings.ini in MDT add that OU (MachineObjectOU=OU=NoPolicy,DC=xxxxx,DC=org). After deployment finishes, move the computer to whatever container you'd like.  I agree with msvt200, our fresh OS failed, so this ruled out an issue with the image.
