Which authentication form does Web Conf and Dial In use?

  Internally you'll get Windows auth and externally it should be FBA based.

  But what is the authentication "behind" Windows Auth and FBA?
  
  Is it Kerberos, NTLM and Certificate-based for the internal part?
  And NTLM externally?

  
  I think that I once read something about that Lync didn't support FBA? But is it only related to the TMG/UAG publishing?

  Internal will use Kerberos first and then fall back to NTLM and external will use NTLM.
