Password Prompt every time I open Outlook after migration from BPOS to Office 365

After our migration to Office 365, I have to enter my password and select a profile every time I open Outlook 2010. I always Remember my credentials and set the Office 365 profile (its also my only one) as the default.
I saw similar threads with suggestions on how to fix it, but I already have those things set. Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks.

Assuming you have your AutoDiscover records pointed properly, you should have an option to save your password for your profile (I have only ever been prompted once).

This is odd. with my tenant that I created from scratch, I don't have this problem, BUT, with my freshly-transitioned tenant, I have the same thing. The only thing I can say is that ADFS will fix the login issue. As for the prompting for profile, you can disable that through the Mail Control Panel item by selecting the profile you want, set it to default, then select always use this profile.

Yeah. We don't have an AD infrastructure at all. Everything is in Office 365. Thanks for the profile advice. Still can't get the password to stop pinging me....

Which OS are you using? In windows if you can find something called "credential manager" it shows all the passwords saved for various clients and applications. Pretty much delete anything that has the server name "red001,red002,red003". I can assist more if you provide the Windwos OS.
There have been rumors of a "configurationparameters.xml" file I found from the old client remnants that is not listed in the registry under autodiscover. I believe it is under the application data folder. If you google *cough* Bing the file name "configurationparameters.xml" should be in the search results. This didn't work for me though. the previous solution I provided did. Hope this helps

18 พฤษภาคม 2555 20:47Since the transition and my previous post, the credential prompt has gone away for the transitioned company. It may have been credential manager caching the creds, which have since expired.
