Renaming a Child Site Name

  Do you mean you want to change the title of the link?

  

  If so, you can change it by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the root site of the site collection
  2. Click Site Action
  3. Click Site Setting
  4. Click Navigation under Look and Feel Category
  5. You can change it under Global Navigation Section

  Yes, it is the title of the link but it is running on SharePoint 2007. I have already tried going to Site Settings with no luck.

  The title of this link will not be changed automatically when you change the sub site name. You may delete the link and add a new instead.
