How to use .mdf file without installing SQL Server

16 พฤษภาคม 2555 6:47I deployed a setup of windows application which have a .mdf database file included with this setup. I want to install it to another machine where I don't want to install sql server. Is it possible to run the application? Is there any sql server add-on or minimum sql instance available instead of sql server which provide the require service?

Hi,
The only thing I could suggest would be to use SQL Express which is free. http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/en/us/editions/2012-editions/express.aspx
