How can I create a maintenence plan for a databse with full backup and2 month retention?

16 มิถุนายน 2554 19:41I have a task where I need to set a maintenence paln for a full backup and 2 month retention. I know how to set a maintenence plan but my only doubt is how can I set the retention period?

You can set the backup set expiration value to 60 days.

Hi ,
You can add Maintenance Cleanup Task to existing Backup Maintenance Plan.
Based on .bak extension u can delete 8 weeks old files.
