Halo semua, langsung saja ya.
Klien aku ini buat DMS (Document Management System), yah kayak Office WebApp gitu deh.
Tapi ada permintaan sbb :
1. File Server. Ini mudah, sebenarnya kan dari Windows SBS 2003-pun ada (o ya, ini terlanjur sudah ada SBS-nya)
2. File-file yang ada dalam file server, bisa diaudit, siapa saja yang akses serta “versioning-nya”.
Ini kebetulan klien sudah punya SBS Standard 2003.
Jadi nampaknya saya harus :
a) Harus pasang SQL Server soalnya kalau SBS Standard tidak ada SQL-nya.
b) Pasang SharePoint Standard, kemudian aktifkan Workspace-nya
Bener gitu atau saya perlu Office Server?

Utk hal dms saja, install
1. Sharepoint foundation
2. Install office web apps
3. Dan sql

Kalau mau versioning document dan audit siapa saja yang pernah lihat (apalagi ubah) document tersebut perlu SharePoint Workspace tidak ?
Barusan habis baca tentang http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431685.aspx sudah jelas tenatng Office Web Apps.

Sekalian antisipasi untuk capacity planning dan sizing database SQL server-nya, kalau pakai SQL Server 2008 R2 coba dikonfigurasi jug RBS nya (remote blob storage) agar file-file yang berukuran besar (blob) bisa masuk ke file server dan tidak fill-up content database.

Weleh, asli yang ini saya tidak tahu sama sekali dan tidak terpikir.
Terimakasih sekali Bro Agus……saya bener-bener tidak tahu akan hal ini. Terbayang saja tidak.
Betul, ini mau pakai SQL 2008 R2, soalnya di SBS Standard 2003 tidak ada SQL-nya
