Unable to create VSS snapshot

Hi,
I am attempting to perform backups with BackupAssist, but there seems to be problems with my VSS which causes this to fail.
I've got a thread here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsbackup/thread/e1b8535d-13b9-4c21-b5a3-796653b50c94 , and the log in Event Logs is:
Backup job Host Backup failed with errors.
Critical error: Unable to create VSS snapshot
Destination: Local hard drive
Start time: 03/05/2010 18:15:06
End time: 03/05/2010 18:20:22
Duration: 00:05:15.1780272And also (From Backup log):
The backup operation that started at '2010-05-04T01:15:42.701000000Z' has failed because the Volume Shadow Copy Service operation to create a shadow copy of the volumes being backed up failed with following error code '2155348129'. Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.
How can I fix this?

Hi,
Do you get suggestions from Lokesh?
The error is different in these two threads, and these two errors indicate different problem. 2155348129 equals to 807800A1 and means "The specified path is invalid".
Please provide us complete log file for research. You can upload the file to Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/). If you would like other community member to analyze the report, you can paste the link here, if not, you can send the link to tfwst@microsoft.com.
Also, please help to collect the information below:
1. When did the issue start to occur?
2. Is there any change made on the system?
3. Does this problem occur on other systems? At the same time, you may refer to the thread below:

Hmm, I keep getting this error but can't see where there'd be an issue with paths.
I will upload my logs to SkyDrive soon.
How do i re-register the .dlls like mentioned in that thread?

Hi,
Maybe the steps in this article.
Various issues may occur on a Windows Server 2003-based computer that is running the Volume Shadow Copy Service
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940032But this article has a warning
"This article is not for use with Windows Vista, with Windows Server 2008, or with later operating systems. Starting with Windows Vista and with Windows Server 2008, Windows component installation is manifest based. If you try to manually register specific components, such as those that are described in this "Resolution" section, in the operating systems that are mentioned in this note, unexpected results may occur that may require reinstalling Windows to resolve.
"
Thanks.
