How to prevent Cluster Private Network (Heart Beat Network) being used to route by the application or tracert command ?

Hello Everyone,
What should I do to make sure the Private HBN doesn't reply or only used by the MSCS communication only for the heartbeat ?
Here's my configuration Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 clustered (MSCS) and the SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 that I'd like to replicate to another cluster in different site, however when I try to tracert to the remote SQL DB instance, it returns from the Private Heart Beat Network (HBN) instead of the proper hop-by-hop ?
Any kind of assistance and recommendation would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

It sounds like you have two distinct clusters in two different sites, so I would guess that you do not have the two clusters on the same subnet. Therefore, if you remove the gateway from your cluster communication network configuration, it would never get routed to the other site.
I'm guessing at a lot on this. If you gave a bit more of a description of your network configuration, it would be helpful.
