Viridian a real hypervisor?

Since I saw Jeff's video I'm not sure whether viridian is a real hypervisor.
Hope to get some answer:
1. Can other roles be added to the server core which has an enabled virtualization role? (AD, File Server, DNS...)
2. Will the VMM run as an application or not?
Will it run above the Longhorn Server Core?
3. A hypervisor does communicate directly with the hardware. Will this mean that the Viridian bypass the Longhorn Server Core?4. After adding the virtualization role does the server need a reboot so that the VMM will take place below the OS?

1. Yes.
2. The hypervisor will run below Longhorn Server, whether it's running a full or core installation.
3. No - the hypervisor will run below Longhorn Server.
4. Most likely, yes. However, we have not finalized our installation mechanism at this time.
