Hi,
I have a windows 2008 R2 with hyper-v role activated, whenever i login to the server via remote desktop or locally to the server, the server would either give me "Please wait for the System Event Notification Service..." or blank blue screen. If it display a blank screen, i can use CTRL + ALT + DEL to let the server display the task manager for me to RUN hyper-v Manager by browing to c:\Program Files\Hyper-V\virtmgmt.msc .All the VMs hosted in the server is accessible though the Remote desktop directly to each VMs.
However when login to the Hypervisor desktop. it seem to have very slow performance. The hyper-v have 96GB of RAM.
Please assist us in resolving this issue.

I'd check the system event log for errors since last boot. C:\Windows\System32\eventvwr.msc

Hi, Dave,
I have try to access the C:\Windows\System32\eventvwr.msc, however the UI hang at the Event viewer and i am unable to proceed further. This problem seem to surface when we have a VM with very high network utilization been hosted in the hypervisor. However this VM which hosted sharepoint site did not experience any slowness in performance in term of network and CPU. Do we need to disable any of the TCP offload in the NIC of the hypervisor as state in
Thank you
