Forefront TMG 2010 on Hyper V server

16 Nisan 2012 Pazartesi 10:39Hi everbody just a quick question i am planning to install forefornt 2010 TMG in my organization .Can i install it on a hyper V server ? or it needs a physical Server ?

Yes it is supported to install TMG on a virtual machine (has been since ISA 2006):

Hello,
Installing Forefront TMG on a virtual machine is fully supported by Microsoft.
I would just recommend using a dedicated physical server for TMG Forefront instead of a VM for the following reasons:
- Performance reasons
- Deployment and troubleshooting complexity reasons
