Asset Intelligence 14A Licensing Report Inventory

I have come across quite a few different postings regarding Licensing Report 14A Inventory showing as quantity 0, but I don't see any resolutions that are appropriate to my situation. I am running SCCM 2007 R3, have deployed my AI sync point, updated my catalog, installed KB2483225 and run a hardware inventory sync on some of my client machines. I see an inventory being reported back in my 14B licensing report; however 14A is still showing an inventory of for all MVLS products. I imported my MVLS summary from Microsoft and am working on trying to get some numbers for our upcoming True Up.
Any help provided would be greatly appreciated!

Can you give us more details as to what is showing a 0 value for license? Is it everything or just something? Are you getting any errors when you import the MVLS?

11 Haziran 2012 Pazartesi 12:53My MVLS imported without any problems and other reports are showing inventory counts fine, it's just this report, which is showing a 0 inventory count for all items listed on the report.

02 Temmuz 2012 Pazartesi 14:56It gives me results, but the results aren't any different than running the 14A report, other than 14A has more output columns.

That query will show you exactly what was imported into CM07. If you are not seeing the data you are expecting then it is because it is not getting imported into CM07. Try importing the MVLS again.

02 Temmuz 2012 Pazartesi 15:17The problem with the report is that I'm not seeing anything for the "Inventoried Quantity". All products contain a value of 0, which isn't coming from our MVLS.

Is both AI and Software Metering enabled?
Do you get anything with this query?
select t2.MLSFamilyName, t2.VersionCode, t2.VersionSequence, count(MPC0) as [InventoryCount] from (select MPC, MLSFamilyName, VersionCode, VersionSequence from v_LU_MSProd where VersionSequence >= 1) t2 left outer join (select ResourceID, MPC0 from v_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE_MS where MPC0 is not NULL group by ResourceID, MPC0) t1 on t1.MPC0 = t2.MPC group by t2.MLSFamilyName, t2.VersionCode, t2.VersionSequence Having count(MPC0) > 0 order by 4 desc

Yes, we’re using both AI and Software Metering and I have information for both services. When I run the query you’ve provided I get results for InventoryCount of all products. I’d say it’s obvious after running some different reports that we have all the information within our SCCM database , it’s just not pulling it together in this particular report for some reason.

The query I post before is directly from the 14a report, it is what give you your install base.. so…. I recommend digging into the report more and see what is going on.

13 Şubat 2013 Çarşamba 14:19I'm having the same problem. I know that I have many licenses of Office 2010 Professional Plus installed but my inventory still shows as 0. I have gone into SQL and looked directly at the views called by this report and those views do correctly show the office licenses. They just don't come over to the report properly.
