I saw a bunch of articles referencing Rollup 1 for Exchange 2010 SP2.  See below for an example.  We are about two months away from completing our Exchange 2010 migration from 2007, but we are at the SP2 level with no rollups.  Should I install Rollup 2 now or wait until all mailboxes are moved.  I just don't want anything to break with this update.  Any gotchas???

If you are in coexistence with exchange 2007 with remote sites, Rollup 1 breaks owa for 2007 users in remote sites.  I spent a considerable amount of time with PSS and the only work around was to uninstall RU1 and reset the owa directory on public facing Cas to restore functionality.

Personally, I would install RU2 now - before moving the rest of the mailboxes.

This won't break our CAS redirection with the standard virtual directories?

Do you mean the proxy issue in SP2 RU1? That is fixed in SP2 RU2.

Over the years, I have completed many migrations. Unless there is a specific need, you should never upgrade your environment during a migration. This is best practice for migrations. If you have a break/fix, you need to look at the pros/cons to determine if it is possible to wait or not. Is there some issue that you are having that will be fixed with either rollup 1 or 2?
