Windows 7, Games wont stretch to fit screen!

They're are a couple threads based on this issue, but mines slightly different.
That being said i don't have a ATI Chip Or a Nvidia Chip.
So i don't have CCC or Nvidia Control panel.Quite some time ago i purchased a new desktop computer along with it came a windows 7 install disk!
Loving my new upgrade i backed up my brothers laptop and formatted the HDD upgrading him from vista to win7.
After each install it's necessary for me too get out his driver disks and re install those.Occasionally i re install his OS just to keep it fresh and operating smoothly
But ever since that first install of win7 none of his games stretch to fit screen?
Any Resolution that's not 1366 by 768 just leaves too large black bars on the screen.
Desktop res stretches fine, weather its 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768Things to know:
Windows 7 Home premium 64bit
And a DREADED "Mobile Intel R 4 Series Express Chipset family"
A bare minimum in display technologies.
Native Res: 1366 x 768The only thing i found to do was in the Intel control panel or the "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for mobile"
under video settings i go to the Video Scaling tab and enabled Letter box to Wide-screen Scaling.
it did nothing of course. No idea what to do here, Can't find much help either due to the fact not many people have this chip.
I've also contacted Intel with the problem and of course all they provided was the canned solutions
such as update your drivers ect. Please help!

Since you are dealing with an Intel video system, you need to go to the Intel website for the latest driver:
If you have additional questions about Intel hardware, then you need to contact Intel Technical Support.
Intel is soley responsibility for the support of their hardware and their drivers.
You are not talking about a Windows 7 problem here. You are talking about a problem with Intel hardware!
If Intel cannot help you with their hardware and drivers, then what do you expect to get from a Microsoft website?
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”

Well if you understand that its not supposed to be a windows 7 problem this is posted in application compatibly.
Other users using ATI and Nvida cards had no problems receiving help form this forum.

What you are failing to comprehend is that this is not a Windows 7 problem, this is a video driver problem.
The video display is controlled by the video driver.
All you "answers" are directly related to the video driver.

dude, i was having the same problem with intel chipset running windows 7. check this link to download the video drivers for your intel chipset http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/?iid=subhdr+dnlds_detect . then in the intel driver software go to the media/Image scale and select the option "scale widescreen letterbox". that should solve the problem, hope you understand my english im from latin america so its pretty bad.
