    i installed windows server 2008 in my pc in a second partition of my hard disk. after installing hyperV role, i just cant start a default virtual machine. i get the error" new virtual machine cannot initialize " i tried everything that could resolve the problem, but still. i need an answer quickly please. thank you.

    note : i tried the three possible solutions in the help suport. i have no antivirus installed.

    Hi,

    Did you have hardware virtualization enabled in BIOS? Did you use Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2? If you are using Windows Server 2008 R2, you can check the following KB to see whether you can resolve the issue.

    You cannot start virtual machines on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 and on which a CPU is installed that supports the AVX feature
