Can anyone with all the experts help me to figure out why get this "An authentication error has accurred. The encryption type requested is not supported by the KDC". I am using the RSAT for windows 7 and running a regular user domain account. Then I would lunch the Hyper-V manager and run as different user with a domain admin account. I don't get that error if I would just RDP on the host of the all the hyper-v guest. Thank you!

The Hyper-V host a member of the domain or not?
Use HVRemote to tweak the settings on host and remote client machine to get things going:

did you get the same issue if you login to the Windows 7 computer with a domain admin directly instead of using a regular domain user account?- Yanıt Olarak İşaretleyen myth20 08 Mayıs 2012 Salı 16:44

the hyper-v host is member of the domain. The user that I run as is domain administrator. I get the same error when I login as domain administrator on my workstation.- Yanıt Olarak İşaretleyen myth20 08 Mayıs 2012 Salı 16:44

Hi,
You may try to troubleshoot this issue by rebooting Server Core server. I suppose there were maybe some Kerberos issues that would not clear our without a reboot.
Please look into the following articles, hope it helps.

That may indicate a problem with the DNS, NetBIOS, and AD setup?
