win 2008 r2 SP1 NIC problem

win 2008 r2 NIC stops communicating with the network after sometime. then we have to restart system.
its all happening with the Hyper-v host machines.
its an urgent issue.

What is your server vendor type?
Is your server up-to-date patched?
Did you check about hotxies ?

As Murat said, you also need to check for hotfixes - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/hyper-v-update-list-for-windows-server-2008-r2/rss.aspx
Beyond that, it could be hardware problem. What do the Windows log files say? Have you opened a support case with your hardware vendor? Other than the KB article that Murat points to, and possible hotfixes that your environment might need, it very much sounds like a hardware problem needs to be investigated.
