  • On my Windows 7 Ultimate laptop the license terms indicate 20 connections. Go to Start > Run and type winver then click on Microsoft Software License Terms and scroll down to Section 3 f. - Device Connections.

  • from Ultimate:

Device Connections. You may allow up to 20 other devices to access software installed on the licensed computer to use only File Services, Print Services, Internet Information Services and Internet Connection Sharing and Telephony Services.

  • Unfortunatly that part in Windiws 7 Enteprise is very "poor". Actulay under licence termsn is only one or two sentences (general staff) and that is it.

  • Windows 7 Professional also allows 20 concurrent connections.

Does anyone have a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium that could check the allowance for that edition?

    THanks
