USB Wireless 802.11 b/g Adaptor "Code 10"

    Question

  • I have a computer running Windows Vista Ultimate (a brand new HP m9000t), and recently began experiencing a problem with the following error message:

    USB Wireless 802.11 b/g Adaptor "Code 10"

    This device cannot start.

Once this happens my Windows Media Center remote control (with a built in infrared transceiver) stops working, and the only way that  I can get it working again is if I reboot the computer, but it stops working again whenever the computer goes into and then comes out of sleep mode.

I'm not really sure what to do about this problem, because I never experienced it on my other HP Media Center computer (an m8067c).

Any suggestions about what to do would be greatly appreciated.
