  • Hi Mehky,

According to AutoCAD official website, AutoCAD 2008 doesn't support Windows 7. (Click HERE to see details)

You could try to run AutoCAD in XP mode.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks.

  • Highlite the setup.exe file right click it, select Troubleshoot compatibility, follow the prompts.
It "SHOULD" install without issue. (hint watch the taskbar as the setup will be reduced to the bar in most cases)

  • It runs pretty well for me, I used this software to make my 32bit AutoCAD 2008 run on Windows 7 64bit www.longbowsoftware.com. I also used the information here http://www.longbowsoftware.com/Tips_and_Tricks.php to get my older versions working too, I actually did the same thing for my AutoCAD 2008 just to be sure it would work. Hope it helps someone

  • I did it buying Windows 7 Professional for my 64 bit computer that allows me a virtual computer using Windows XP; but... this AutoCAD runs very slow for reasons I DO NOT know and how to fix it neither.  I hope this help.  So, if someone know how to speed it, please...etc.  Thanks.
