Forcing all users of a workstation to use the same virtual machine in XP Mode

    Question

  • A client is upgrading several hundred workstations from XP to Windows 7.  They have several legacy and internally developed applications that can't run under Windows 7, and for various resons have decided to use XP Mode rather than MEDV.  Some of the workstations are shared among a number of users.  When a new user logs on a new virtual machine in created acquiring a unique IP address from DHCP, which will rapidly deplete the DHCP scope.  Is ther a way to force all users of a Win7 workstation to use the same VM?  Many thanks.
