    Question

  • Hello,
    I am running Vista Home Pro and after installing the latest updates (KB933360, KB938194, KB938979, KB939159),
    I started getting "0xc000007b" error even from Microsoft apps like Messenger.

     

    Information from Event Log:
    "Faulting application msnmsgr.exe, version 8.1.178.0, time stamp 0x45b12d6a,
    faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9,
     exception code 0xc000007b, fault offset 0x00008fc7, process id 0xfb0,

    Can anyone help?

  • I'm getting this same error as well.  Seems like DNS goes wacko as well, google usually stops working and I can't access anything.  Reverting back to Windows XP as we speak as this has been happening for several weeks now.

  • After I updated my computer with Windows Vista Service Pack 1 - I started to get the following error when using Windows Live Messenger:

    DEP (Data Execution Prevention) recommends to close the program

     

    Any suggestions.
