Windows 7 making wierd buzzing noise

    Question

  • Certain times my speakers will start playing a buzzing sound which can be as low as a little static or really high and annoying. Windows 7 seems to be the thing causing the issue and not my speakers. It isn't just a specific program that makes this happen, its just randomly a random program will make buzzing sound while its being used and it will go away when its not being used. Then the next time its fine and something else is causing it. Also, even when on the internet, some times a random web page will cause that buzzing sound or sometimes internet explorer will decide to buzz everytime i use the scroll bar.

Whats  going on? is this a problem with windows 7?

  • That is due to the RF from the phone being picked up my the motherboard. Modern boards are now operating at similar frequencies.

RF isolation is complicated and costly. Think EMP hardening.
