  • Hi,

If you no longer need it, you can feel free to delete the executable file. No more actions are needed.

  • But how do I delete the files that were downloaded to create the iso before I burned the upgrade dvd?

I'm guessing if I just delete the windows upgrade advisor.exe and the install windows.exe it will leave all those file on my computer.  I would like to remove those files.

    Thanks.

  • I found 3 folders

    %USERPROFILE%/AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebSetup

This one is commonly refereed to on the web.

Then I found two more folders that were hidden on my boot partition.

    C:\$WINDOWS.~BT

    Same files as in ..\WebSetup\source

    C:\ESD

Here were the actually downloaded windows install files located
