Missing the right click on desktop to "Add a "NEW" folder

    Question

  • Hello. I am missing the option that while right clicking on the desktop for add a New folder. I have found the fix but have tried to fix it myself, without any success. Is there a way that I could get a TECH to access my PC and fix this issue?

    Thanks

  • My PC is partitioned into 4, C,E,F,G. with G being only 15 GB. I cloned C to F. Is there a way to do a fresh install on "C" so as not to lose anything from other drives?

  • Hello carmanhere,

There is a possibility this is related to a registry setting.

There are a number of utilities that will allow remote access to fix issues of this type.

Before going down that route, what did you do to try to rectify the issue. Is there anything we may be missing?

  • Hi,

Before going any further, you might try to perform a system restore and restore the system to a point where the issue does not appear.

    Hope it helps.
