Need replacement manifest file - SP1 continues to fail

    Question

  • I have followed the 'fixes' for trying to get Windows 7 sp1 to install successfully and am stuck on one unavailable repair file according to CheckSUR log.  The only error I receive is:

    "Checking System Update Readiness.

    Package Version 11.0

I have searched the web high and low but can't find anyone with a replacement file. I have no reinstallation disc for Windows 7 (Dell laptop shipped without).  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.  Is there anywhere I can obtain this file to replace/repair my obviously corrupt one?  I have only two Windows 7 pcs running on my network at work and they don't have sp1 yet, so I am hoping I can resolve this on my personal laptop before I have to dive in there!   Thanks for any suggestions!!
