  • Did you get any error while doing upgrade.

You should be able to find the Windows 8.1 update in the store if you have Windows 8 installed.

  • Volume license versions of Windows 8, Windows 8 Enterprise, and Windows 8 Enterprise Eval versions cannot be upgraded from the Windows Store. You must use media to upgrade these editions.

plz check the upgrade path for windows 8

The update is only available in the store to the general public.  Below are possible reasons why it doesnt appear for you.

  • Have you tried the WindowsUpgradeAssistant ?
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?linkid=259439

Some people have reported success with it.

Also, WindowsUpdating issues can cause problems with the upgrade process, so maybe check the troubleshooter:

  • Nothing in the troubleshooter the updates for the windows are all installed correctly and some needed in oorder to install the 8.1 I installed manually and it said that these updates were already installed. The thing is I dont understand why I cant find it in the store even if it doesnt appear immediately I searcch it and still is invisible.

  • It's my understanding that the update won't be offered in the Store, if there is something not ready, not configured, missing, or damaged or corrupted on your PC. (everything needs to be exactly healthy and up-to-date, etc, or the upgrade won't be displayed).

The difficulty is, that the "problem" issue, isn't clearly mentioned, so that makes it hard to fix it.
It may be some kind of strange "inconsistency", on your PC, which isn't affecting your PC is any obvious/visible way, but it's enough of an issue to signal to Windows "don't offer the upgrade or things could get a lot worse". (this is just me theorising).

You could try the steps here in [Option 1], to do a quick health-check on your PC?
