I know this is in the Vista forum but there seems to be no answer. I'm running Win7 Pro RTM and intermittently getting a svchost process running at around 50%. Using process explorer it's DCOMLAUNCH/PnP/Power that's causing the issue. There are a few threads suggesting disabling all enhancements in Sound but I haven't that option. Running a Dell Optiplex 755 with a clean install. Only unknow device is a 'PCI Simple Communications Controller' but I can't see what that is (I've tried the Vista version of the obvious drivers - it'a an Intel PCI Vendor number) Dell haven't got Win7 drivers for audio so I've had to use the one the Windows install detected (SoundMax Integrated HD)
