Help! Windows 7 not showing boot screen logo

    Question

  • When I turn on Windows 7 from dual-boot, it just shows ". . . . . . . ." instead of the animated boot logo. It had never happened to me before and started a few days ago.

  • Hi Jason,

Mostly, the issue is cuased by missing locale entry in boot record. Could you please run CMD in Admin and run following command to troubleshoot the issue?

    bcdedit /set {current} locale en-US

Then, please restart the computer to check if it is resolved.

    Hope it helps.
