  • What online seller?  Did you get a big discount over what Microsoft charges?

The hologram on the disc doesn't look quite right to me.

You were likely scammed into purchasing an illegitimate copy, and you'll simply have to buy a legitimate copy of the software.

  • From your MGA Report:

    Windows Product ID: 00426-067-4972094-86243

Unfortunately, the Windows 7 Ultimate edition license installed was pirated from a "not-for-resale" MSDN Subscription license.  Contact the seller and demand a refund!  You can purchase a genuine Windows 7 Ultimate license from the Microsoft Store.  You'll need a "Full Version".

  • Did you see the image provided by the below link.  It came in the original packaging.

  • Yes, the packaging is of high-quality counterfeit duplication.  Please review this video: Bogus Windows 7 warning

"Forgery is the process of making, adapting, or imitating objects, statistics, or documents with the intent to deceive."

This is probably difficult for you to hear, but consider this:

    • Microsoft had to engineer the operating system, with tens of thousands of engineers developing for years and years.  That was expensive, and impossible to duplicate.
    • Someone had only to do a good job of replicating the packaging to make you believe you had bought the real thing, while providing an illegal serial number that might work for a time.  That may have been difficult, but it was nowhere near as expensive as engineering the product.

If you cannot get your money back from the seller, you're stuck with a forgery that doesn't work.  As I said before, your only recourse in either case is to buy a real license from Microsoft.
