  • Thank you for your update.

According to your description, the issue should related with Windows XP. Disable firewall and antivirus program on Windows XP. If the issue occurs, please ping Windows 7 IP address to see the result.

And if you have tried cable wired, please update the result.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Hi,

Before going any further, I would like to verify these situations:

1 Could other PC access each other expect PC4?

2 Did you receive any error message when access PC1,  PC2 and PC3 from PC4?

    3 Could PC1,PC2 or PC3 access PC4?

    4 Could PC4 view PC1, PC2 or PC3 in network group?

When this issue occur, please try to use \\ipaddress to access these PC from PC4 to see the result. Temporally  disable firewall and antivirus program. Also logon with Safe Mode with networking on PC4 to see the result.

Furthermore, you can try to use cable wired on PC4 for test.

    Regards,

  • Hi Leo

    1- All PCs under windows 7 and Vista can fully access each others;

2- yeah, the usual message: can't access, pls contact your network administrator

    3- Nope

    4- PC4 can't be viewed n the network group

ps. I am very hezitant to do any modification on windows 7 and Vista PCs since you never know what would happen!

I'll try cable wired and get back to you.

    Thanx
