I am currently using WinPE to repair a boot configuration manually. Please note: do not tell me to just use the Repair Disc.
I am attempting to use the following command:
and I always get back this error:
Unable to load MUI file for BCD strings. Google was of no help, neither was Bing (shudder). I assume it has to do with the various .mui files that exist but I don't know which one I need or where it goes. Please help me solve this cryptic
I suspect this is related to the BCDboot utility in Windows PE, you could also try to use the BCDboot tool in Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) under the %Program
Files%\<version>\Tools directory from the Windows PE disk.
Hope it helps.
