Outlook Express and Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

    Question

  • I hate all of the other email clients out there. Why can't you just give us back Outlook Express. I am so sick of all the ____ with all of the other email clients. I had Outlook Express for years and I really really want it back. Come on Microsoft get your stuff together and give it back to us. And no Windows Live is nothing like Outlook Express, so quit telling us it is.

  • Sorry didn't realize that. Is there a round about where we can use Outlook with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit that you know of? I really would like to have it back.

Install the XP Mode and use the old Outlook Express .

Install KB958559 (VirtualPC) first , next the Update KB977206 to remove the VT requirement (if your CPU doesn't support hardware VT) and in the 3rd step install the XPMode VHD (WindowsXPMode_en-us.exe).

Download the XPMode VHD from here:

This isn't Microsoft you're addressing, this is a peer support forum.
We are all just users of this version of Windows here, helping each
other if and when we can. We are not Microsoft employees (not even
those of us with "Microsoft MVP" behind our names; that's an honorary
title for having provided consistently helpful advice) except for an
    occasional employee.

If you want to complain to Microsoft about something, please contact
them directly. Trying to do it here is just a waste of (figurative)
    breath.
