windows boot manager / not compatible with 64bit mode in Windows 7

  • good day to all~

    i have an Intel pentium 4 2.8ghz, Asus P4V8X-X MBoard, 512mb Ram, Inno3d FX5200 128mb, 80Gb Seagate SATA Hard Drive, Sony DVD Rom IDE.

    i'm trying to install Windows 7 RC but it FAILED. it stops saying WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER~ Windows Failed to start... info: attempting to load 64bit application, however this cpu is not compatible with 64bit mode.

    what am i gonna do with this situation? anybody pls help me.

    It sounds like you're trying to install the 64-bit version of Windows 7 on an ordinary x86 computer which only supports 32-bit applications. I'd recommend simply heading back on over to Microsoft and downloading the 32-bit version.
