Bonjour for Windows

    Question

  •

I am running Windows Vista and have an Apple Extreme router with my usb printer plugged into the router.  I setup my printer through Bonjour for Windows and I can print to the printer no problem.  However, when I reboot my machine the printer shows offline.  I cannot print no matter what I try.  The only way to correct the problem is to delete the printer and re-add it with Bonjour.  Then everything works again until I reboot again.  Is there a fix for this issue?

  • Hi,

This issue is more Bonjour setting related. Please understand that Bonjour is not a Microsoft product. We do not have much information on the software.

It is recommended to contact Apple Support to address the problem. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Apple told me Bonjour was a Microsoft product and told me to contact them.  Oh well ... thanks anyway.
