i was just wondering that if i could use cmd in win 7 to extract a rar file instead of using any software like winrar, winzip, etc. I Just want to use a command in cmd and the files will be extracted
i mean to say that i just type something like below and it will be extracted
enter path or folder where to extract file: c:\files\imp_file
please help me with the above code. as this can prevent the windows user to spend money on any archieve manager. I know there are many free managers to do those tasks but if there would be some code in win 7 then i would be better as this could also free
space in our HDD if we won't use any other software for such tasks.
please tell if you know how to do this.
and please don't say something like "why wont you use winrar" or "why you want" bla bla bla.
am doing so just to gain some inside knowledge about win7 and also if i am in a emergengy and don't have a archive manager then could use this.
