    Question

  • I get the above message on a bright blue screen, when I try to start up my pc. It started after I tried to download Internet Explorer 9, I think.

It happens in Safe mode too.

How do I "chkdsk/ F for hard drive corruption" like it says if I can't get past safe mode?

    Running Windows XP.

    HELP!

  • Thanks! I'll try that. I think I'll have to contact Dell directly, since I can't find the cd. I do appreciate the help!

Sorry for sounding stupid but what does CSS stand for? Thanks!
