  • Is your language Spanish? I have found that in English website there are Windows Vista drivers and updates can be downloaded. Currently almost all the latest HP drivers are for Windows Vista. You may try the drivers to check if they could work properly in Windows 7 RC.

    You may install it in Windows Vista compatible mode. If it does not work, we may need to wait for new compatible drivers. Meantime, you may install the printing driver for it in Devices and Printers.

    1. Open Devices and Printers.
    2. Click Add a printer.
    3. Choose an existing LPT port, click Next.
    4. Find the driver for HP PSC 1500 series. Click Next. If the driver is not found, click the button Windows Update, wait for it finishes and try to find again.
    5. Finish the installation with instructions.

    If there is any question, feel free to post.

  • If the driver is not listed on the manufacturer's website, it is not Windows 7 ready. I would suggest partitioning your Hard Drive, installing Vista, or a stable OS, and then using the printer on that OS. Then you will have a stable OS to use your printer on, and Windows 7 for all your other needs and tests.

    É possível instalar a HPpsc1510 no Windows 7!

    Você que não está achando drive da Multifuncional Hppsc1510 para o Windows 7, tenho uma boa notícia.
    Possuo o Windows 7 em minha máquina e instalei o drive da "HPpsc1510 para Windows Vista" que baixei neste site da HP logo abaixo:

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-47804-1&lc=pt&cc=br&dlc=pt&product=428800&os=2093〈=pt

    (Ele tem mais ou menos 163MB)

    INSTRUÇÕES PARA INSTALAÇÃO NO WINDOWS 7:

    1} Clique no setup do arquivo da HP que você baixou;
    2) Siga todos os passos quando pedido;
    3) Quando aparecer a informação de que o sistema operacional é "imcompatível" com o Drive, então proceda...
    4) Feche ou aborte a instalação e "AGUARDE A MENSAGEM DO WINDOWS 7 (EM UM RETâNGULO INFORMATIVO) SOLICITANDO PARA VOCÊ ABANDONAR A INSTALAÇÃO OU INSTALAR COM CONFIGURAÇÕES RECOMENDADAS".

    "VOCÊ DEVE CLICAR EM "CONFIGURAÇÕES RECOMENDADAS"

    Fiz isto, e deu tudo certo.

    I had the same problem and found another alternative.

    download and install the basic HP printer driver (which in my case it was not possible because there is only the complete package of software and driver for download, then download and install (this "probably" will allow you to print but not scan).

    Having done so, download and install Windows Live Photo Gallery (exactly what you read) if you have not installed it on your PC,

    open Windows Live Photo Gallery, turn the printer on (off course) and click Import at the top left (little image of a cam), will open a window where your printer should be on the list, click Import, or click 2 times on the image then will open a new window to scan and be happy.

    I hope that helps.
