windows 7 search doesn't find all my files

  • I know the files are there, but my search does not come up with all of them. Very frustrating and unsettling as I really need to be able to see all the files I'm looking for. I see that a lot of people are having the same problem. Haven't seen any answers yet.

  • i have the same problem as well since vista

    don't have any idea yet

    but in the mean time you can search it in command prompt

    go to the root and type dir filename /s
