  • Hi,

Please go to Change PC setting and try to change the Lock Screen again, then check whether there are any logs generated in Event Log. If so, post them here.

  • Hi,

What is the error message when changing Lock Screen? Also, please try to create a new account and log on with this account to test again.

  • Hi,

Maybe we could utilize Process Monitor to find something useful. Please download it at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx

I think there is a place or registry key that Changing Lock Screen need to access but failed. Please investigate this by Process Monitor, if anyting is found, post back.

  • How did you delete the folder? When I try to delete it the file I get a message that says I need permission from the computers administrator to complete the action.
