firstly some viruses blocked my xp service pack 3.then windows doesnt load.so i thought of formatting.when i put windows 7 32 bit in cd drive ....no boot option comes just a black screen then after that a cursor blinking on left hand side top.and after that
automatically get restarted.i tried to install ubuntu it works clearly.no issue in installing that.
i think that it is some virus doing it...my hard ware is in good condition.
so please help immediately

It’s seems that you should enter into BIOS to set boot from DVD/CD ROM. You can do like this:
Boot the system up and hold down the‘Esc’ key, then press F1 when you get the check system message. You are then in the BIOS Setup and you can make your changes and save and exit by pressing the ‘End’ key.
